Now, we have a very special announcement. We won’t have our usual TRUST party on August 21st at Chop Suey. Instead, we will be having an outdoor TRUST BBQ on Sunday August 22nd at the Red Lion Hotel – Garden Terrace from 2pm to 10pm. Special guest DJs for the day will include DJ Riz, Introcut and Carlos Mendoza of Lawnchair Generals.

TRUST-ees!

As you can see, there was something in the air that night! Was it spring fever? Was it the thick, disco vibe that MY COUSIN ROY laid down? Who knows… who cares! It was another fantastic night of TRUST. We had a great birthday for ERICA TOELLE with plenty of surprise faces in the house. Did you get to see RAMA and PIXELFLIP? Much love to those guys. Big shouts also to Josh Nelson in the Artist Lounge, Chop Suey & Electric Tea Garden, Rachel & Carey, and of course all of you for showing up.

Be sure to put June 19 on your calendar as TRUST returns with another night of KID HOPS and SUNTZU SOUND back to back all night long.

TRUST!

Last Saturday at TRUST was a special one for sure. We are now in full swing at our new home CHOP SUEY. For those who made it out, you found a whole new set up inside the club with us DJs right on the floor along with our family of dancers. We also found plenty of new faces in the crowd along side our TRUST-y regulars. The music was all over the board and top notch. Although I’ll have to say that the Joy Orbison “Money To Blow” mashup was my fave of the night! The party continued into the wee hours at ETG once again. The tunes got deep and dirty and the sweaty crowd was up for it!

As always we have to big up the Chop Suey and ETG staff, Rachel & Carey for working the door, Bob Hansen for snapping the shots and our host for April, the lovely Ms E.

Stayed tune for info on the next TRUST on May 15 at Chop Suey and ETG. We’ve got a special guest from NYC and a birthday party for one of the TRUST team members.

Once again, thanks to all of you who make TRUST what it is! The best monthly party in the city!

I’m still recovering from changing the clocks and being up all night on Saturday, but wanted to just send a big thank you to everyone who participated in the TRUST 1 Year Anniversary over the weekend. You showed us why people have been calling TRUST the best monthly party in the city for over a year now.

We’ve got a great following of eclectic, open minded party animals who make this party what it is.

It also seems like everyone is on board with TRUST at our new venue Chop Suey. The sound and lighting were on point with plenty of room to dance, coat check and other perks we’ve been missing.

So, please continue to spread the word on TRUST and remember that we’re now on 3rd Saturdays at Chop Suey (next is April 17).

We need to take a second and big up a few individuals who made the party the success that it was:

Sorry for the delay, but just wanted to give a quick shout out to all our regulars and newbies who rocked it with us at TRUST #9. The vibes were hot and the music went really deep this time devolving into a 4am Detroit hiphop session. Big ups to Felipe for the live painting, Bob for the photos and Erica, Jessie and Carrie for holding down the door duties.

God bless you all, we’ve survived another wicked weekend of TRUST; #8 possibly being the most raucous yet!

DOMU was rocking a packed and sweaty dancefloor that at one point felt like it was ready to crash through the floorboards. Kate Coffee was a brilliant hostess bringing many different people together for another special evening of good times and stellar music from all corners of the spectrum.

Sadly we have to wish a fond farewell to both Bailee and Kate who are leaving the TRUST family. Bailee needs all the time she can get to study web dev so she can start stealing clients from me and Kate is off to Berlin (back to Berlin?). TRUST would not be what it is without these two fine ladies. Good luck to you both!!!

We also want to apologize to those who were not able to get in to the party. As always, we’ve said that space is limited and early arrival is suggested. We’ll be working with the owners to work out some of the kinks but we’re just so glad to see our TRUST family growing at the new spot ETG. So, mark your calendars for November 14 when TRUST returns.

In the meantime, DOMU is still in town and will rock Lo-Fi tonight Oct 13 at Stop Biting. He’ll be playing a more beat-centric set so be sure to roll through and catch him again.

Big ups to all the wonderful people who showed up to make TRUST #6 a very special one indeed. We were blessed with tunes from the legendary DJ RIZ and the dancefloor has never been more packed. Sexy smiles filled up the spot as SunTzu Sound and Riz swapped soulful tunes. Special shouts to Bailee, Kate Coffee, Jayson Powell on congas, our hostesses Laurie and Twozdai and the Sole Repair staff.

On that note, we are happy to announce that TRUST is moving out of Sole Repair and heading up the street to the Electric Tea Garden at 14th and Pike. Moving to Electric Tea Garden (aka Oseao) will help us take TRUST underground to offer you a party that is truly for the heads. We thank everyone who has helped us build TRUST into one of the best parties in Seattle and we hope that you stay with us through this transition.

So mark September 12 on your calender and be a part of the new TRUST at Electric Tea Garden (14th & Pike).

TRUST fam, thank you so much for your support at TRUST #5! I managed to survive a double booking at a wedding earlier that evening. When I finally arrived, Sole Repair was packed with beautiful, smiling faces and sweaty bodies! You proved that July doesn’t have to be a slow month as the spot was jumping all night. Big ups to Atlee, Kid Hops & Bailee for holding things down in my absence. Special shout out goes to our super-mega-host Donte Parks who brought a great posse of fresh faces to TRUST.
